If you follow along on my website, you may have noticed that I’m not the best at keeping up with my blog. However, this engagement session really felt like it deserved a post. I absolutely loved spending the afternoon with Laura and Tim and catching their engagement photos in Pasadena a few weeks ago.
You know the type of people you immediately click with? The people you see and scratch your head for a moment because you could’ve sworn you’ve met them before. The people you want to say, “Hey! I know we don’t know each other well, but can we be friends?”. That’s how I felt about Laura and Tim from the moment we first chatted. These two are so incredibly kind-hearted and it doesn’t take long to see how crazy they are about each other. Our original location for this shoot ended up falling through at the last moment, and they were wonderful about jumping into a new location which ended up being perfect. One of the best parts of shooting engagement sessions is getting to know our couples better, to spend some quality time together and chat about everything from their wedding day plans to their favorite Netflix shows at the moment to their favorite holiday traditions. It is one of my favorite parts of what I do and this afternoon was absolutely lovely. I cannot wait to be there to document their wedding day at Madera Kitchen this next year! I feel so grateful that they are including us in their wedding day and I know it will be one I’ll surely shed a happy tear or two at.
